We’re excited to welcome 41 runners flying in from Brevig Mission, Elim, Shaktoolik, Teller, White Mountain, and, of course, our very own Unalakleet team.
In total, we’ll have 56 runners competing, including:
22 High School athletes
18 Junior High athletes
8 Sixth Graders
3 Fifth Graders
4 Fourth Graders
1 Third Grader
Tentative Schedule:
🕦 11:30 AM: Elementary race starts (1-mile loop in town, starting at the gym)
🚐 12:00 PM: Shuttle runners – Drive the course, walk the loop
🔍 12:45 PM: Race spotters take their positions
🏃♀️ 1:00 PM: High School Girls/Boys Race
🏃♂️ 1:30 PM: Middle School Girls/Boys Race
🏅 2:15 PM: Awards Ceremony at the Start/Finish line

Congratulations to the Unalakleet High School Cross Country team on their impressive results at Bartlett High! 🏃♀️
⭐ Ourea Busk (Junior) led the way with a season-best time of 20:16, finishing 11th in a competitive field of 129 runners!
🎉 Isabella Eller (Freshman) ran a personal record (PR) of 22:02, securing 40th place!
👏 Cedar Busk (Senior) clocked in at 27:15.
💪 Ayuu Roesch (Junior) finished strong with a time of 28:20.
Next, Unalakleet will host the QAMUUQHIN HILL TRAILS race, one of Alaska's toughest! 🏔 Teams from the region will compete before the BSSD Conference meet in Golovin. Let's cheer them on as they prepare for state in a few weeks! 🎉🏆

We're celebrating our Wolfpack Cross Country Team's outstanding performance at the Nome Invitational. We are starting wrestling and cheer practice and are looking for amazing individuals to join our Wolfpack in two key roles!
🏅 Cross Country Highlights 🏅
Ourea Busk claimed her third consecutive victory with a time of 21:08!
Isabella Eller placed 4th, Cedar Busk came in 10th, and Ayuu Roesch rounded out the top 12!
For the boys, Teyer Johnson finished 7th, securing the 2nd fastest BSSD time.
In the middle school division, Alex Ivanoff took 2nd for the girls, and Ezra Jack narrowly missed 1st place for the boys!
