Unalakleet School Daily Howl: March 5, 2021

Thank you to the Wolfpack Staff! Even with half of our staff out, we were able to successfully open and have an in-class school while also supporting the many students who were out of school.

Thank you, Kadyn, Thurman, Allison, and Joey for substituting and providing the extra support we needed!

  • Sunshine held down the Sped dept

  • Dean and Giaana absorbed smaller classes.

  • Brad led the combined Middle School

  • Jamie and Lillian collaborated to meet the needs of 1st and 2nd-grade coverage

  • Treca and Quinn took care of the mighty Kindergarten Class

  • Heather and Karen helped each other cover the 4th and 5th grade

  • Marlene and Amber had ECE under control

  • Jolene provided Bi-Cultural class, helped with morning health screenings and lunch duties

  • Bethany and Michelle supported the 3rd grade

  • Joanne shined in the HS Science classroom

  • Sandra was ready with Math

  • Mori, Brittany and Jodi provided support via distance delivery

  • Deb and Carol, the dynamite sister duo provided packaged and hot meal service

  • Karl  kept the positive vibes flowing from the front office

  • Kristen was available to support wherever she was needed

  • Kenny cleaned up (literally)

  • Jason and Merle delivered in a snowstorm!

PARENTS:  We will gladly deliver meal/packets for kids that are on Quarantine.  If your child is not on Quarantine we ask that you pick them up.  The Assistant Principal is spending a large portion of his day delivering them which is keeping him away from his other responsibilities.  Thank you for your understanding.

We are open and in a Green Operational Status.

Early Release today at 1:30.

If your student is absent due to illness, quarantine, or any other reason, parents need to notify the office.

Parents and students in 6th-8th grade:

If you are interested in attending virtual ANSEP, there will be a Zoom meeting in the library Friday at 1 PM.

This meeting will cover the information for ANSEP along with introducing their staff and the expectations of the students.

Harris’ Corner:

Games are still scheduled for this weekend.  The schedule is as follows:

I am still in need of volunteers for this weekend's games vs. Nome.  If you are willing and able to run the book on Saturday and/or Sunday or willing and able to run the clock on Sunday, please contact me at the school or text him at 907-320-0530.

Craft’s Corner:

Wolfpack Family, I am fundraising for our school so please help me by buying delicious See's Candy (in honor of my Granna of course).

Looking for an Easter Treat? We need to fundraise for such events as the Book-a-thon, Holiday Concerts (I must have fabulous stage sets), Fall Carnival, 100 Days in School and many other fun-in-school events.   Thank you!
