Congratulations to the First Grade Battle of the Books Team!
They took first place in the BSSD competition in sudden sudden death overtime against Golovin. About half the class stayed after school to finish the competition!
Congratulations to our EdRising students on their recent statewide competition wins All four competitors qualified for Nationals!
Earl Ivanoff placed 2nd in the Exploring Non-Core Subject Teaching Careers competition after job shadowing Miss Jolene,
Anna Pleasant placed 1st in the Exploring Non-Core Subject Teaching Careers competition after job shadowing Miss Sam Goossen, and
Aryana Lena Ivanoff and Mary Arca placed 1st in the Inside Our Schools competition for their video about virtual competitions!

Unalakleet Schools will be in “Red” on Tuesday and Wednesday. No students will come to school. Distance Delivery packets will be available by the front doors, by the gym along with Breakfast/Lunch Meals from 11:00 to 12:30. Thursday and Friday, we are planning on “Yellow” a/b schedule but is subject to change based off the testing of the community members. NSHC is asking that all 1st and 2nd grade students be tested tonight. Parents please call 625-1595 to arrange this. Take care of one another, we will persevere and get to the other side of this.

March 15th - 19th Spring Break- We might have distance delivery on Monday, March 22nd and Tuesday, March 23rd. The decision will not be made until Friday, March 5th. This is due to UNK schools possibly hosting the 2A Basketball Tournament and the decision being made at a regional meeting on Friday.
